Chinese and African Countries Hold Expert Videoconference

On 18 March, China and African countries had their first expert videoconference on the prevention and control of COVID-19. Nearly 300 people attended the meeting via video link, including health ministers of Ethiopia, Kenya and Liberia, the Deputy Director of the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (AFRICA CDC), other government officials and health experts from 24 African countries, and WHO representatives in some African countries.
